Convert Cdr To Old Version
Cdr. coreldraw graphics files (7-x3,x4 versions) this is a format for storing graphical information, created in the coreldraw program. it can contain raster and vector images.. I am a former beta tester for corel, i think versions 3,4,7 & 9. but the last 7 years i have been an adobe user and use cs5, today. i have many cdr files that i made in corel x5 that illustrator will not import because they are compressed. i has become too costly for me to run both platforms.. The cdr file is a zip-compressed directory of several files, among them xml-files and the riff-structured riffdata.cdr with the familiar version signature in versions x4 (cdrevrsn) and x5 (cdrfvrsn), and a root.dat with corel draw x6, where the bytes 9 to 15 look slightly different..

How to open, or convert, a corel draw .cdr file made in higher version into a lower version, if you don’t have higher version installed ? my new office has corel draw version x3 installed. i need to edit a file made in version x5.. I just want to convert old .cdr to the newest format preferably in a batch. perhaps there's a good third party free software that would do that. perhaps there's a good third party free software that would do that..
